Archie and Veronica reiterate to Betty that FP is being framed. They admit to their parents that they broke into FP's home. The parents don't believe them and urge them to not tell Sheriff Keller.

Jughead plans to go to Toledo to be with his mom and sister, but she tells him not to go. He gets a ticket to get out of town. Archie and Betty go searching for him.

Hermione comes clean to Veronica about bribing the mayor to get the drive-in property. She urges Veronica to pack a bag as they might leave town.

Betty, Veronica and Archie find Jughead at Pop Tate's. They tell him FP is being framed.

FP Jones is being interrogated by Sheriff Keller. He admits that in exchange for providing Jason with a car and money, Jason would need to do a drug delivery. FP also admits that he kidnapped Jason to blackmail Clifford Blossom, he killed him, dumped the body, torched the car with evidence, and stole Sheriff Keller's evidence.

FP has been charged with the murder. The next day at school, Jughead apologizes to Cheryl, but she starts hitting him in anger. Jughead no longer believes his father is innocent.

Fred is worried about Archie and Jughead. He tells Archie that maybe he should go live with his mother in Chicago.

Alice and Betty catch Hal Cooper trying to find the evidence he stole. He admits to stealing the evidence from Sheriff Keller to keep his family's connection out of the investigation.

It's revealed that the Coopers are descendants from the Blossoms. Hal's grandfather changed his name, and that Betty and Polly are related to Jason and Cheryl (third cousins). The Coopers go to Thorn Hill and bring Polly back home.

Mary Andrews pretends to be FP's lawyer and gets information about the case. FP stands by his story, but they learn Joaquin was FP's one phone call. Jughead visits his father in jail.

Archie, Kevin and Veronica interrogate Joaquin about FP. He admits that he helped FP clean up Jason's dead body in the basement of the White Worm. Mustang, another Serpent, is the only other person who knows something about the crime. They find Mustang dead of an overdose.

Veronica implicates her father after Sheriff Keller finds Hermione's bribe under Mustang's bed.

Joaquin decides to skip town instead of being implicated in the murder.

Cheryl keeps pushing her mother to admit why Jason was trying to skip town. Penelope brings Cheryl to the barn filled with maple syrup.

Kevin, Betty and Jughead find Jason's jacket hiding away in a bag. Joaquin has led them to the mysterious "contingency plan" FP had. Betty finds a USB hiding in the jacket showing the murder and she warns Cheryl.

Clifford Blossom killed Jason. It's revealed he shot Jason while he was kidnapped and that FP only admitted to the crime because Clifford threatened Jughead's life.

Hiram is coming home. Archie will visit Mary in Chicago for the summer.

Clifford Blossom committed suicide over his guilt. The secret Blossom business is that they smuggled drugs in the maple syrup.
