-Lt. Raphael Martinez returns to Boston PD after an eight year absence. He and Jane had a falling out after they had an affair and one of their CIs was killed.

-Frankie is upset that Martinez is his new boss and he has a problem with Rizzolis. Jane and Martinez finally talk and try to set things right between them.

-A college student tries to take down a drug ring for a investigative journalism project and gets herself killed. The killer turns out to be a State Trooper who was involved in the ring.

-The Feds are following Hope and Maura. Jane figures out that Hope took money from Paddy years ago to start her Medical Charity and now the Feds are closing in. 

-Hope and Maura ask Paddy to plead guilty to stop the investigation but he refuses.
