A blizzard hits Seattle and members of the crew are forced forced to face their truths.

Travis deals with a difficult call and attempts to lead search and rescue to the location of an injured woman trapped in her car.

Search and rescue are unable to find her and have to abandon the search.

Travis stays on the line with her until she dies.

In the past, Travis and Michael announce their impending marriage, but Travis's father is uncomfortable by it.

Travis asks his mother to read a poem at their wedding, but neither she nor his father show up. His mother reads the poem afterward, but Travis feels it is too little too late.

Andy and Maya continue to fight over Maya's promotion to captain, with Andy still not backing down. However, Maya tells Andy she fought for the position too.

Andy also learns Pruitt is dying and is comforted by Sullivan at the end of the episode.

Rigo confronts Jack about the affair with his wife and to square things, Rigo punches Jack in the face.

Jack tells Dean he was sleeping with Rigo's wife.

JJ goes into labor during the blizzard and gives birth to a healthy baby girl.

Ben begins to suspect Sullivan of stealing the missing vials of Fentanyl.
