Scott and company try to figure out what the creature is that has been killing people as of late.  He looks for Gerard's book of creatures, finds it, but Stiles and Derek had already run into the lizard themselves. It continued to paralyze people and then kill them, or attempt to in the case of Derek.  

Meanwhile, Gerard invited Scott over to the Argents' for dinner after the big game.  It was incredibly awkward for all, and afterward, Gerard stabbed Scott in the stomach for being a wolf.  He told him that he would need a favor at some point.  If the favor isn't returned, Scott's mom will be in trouble.
