An unlikely ally steps in the help Peter and Derek.

Alison has some truly terrifying hallucinations.

The person torturing Derek and Peter is looking for the she-wolf and she cuts off Pete's finger when she doesn't get an answer.

Scott and Stiles find a cave they think is Melia's. They tell the Sheriff their theory about Melia changing during the car ride and causing the car crash, but he tells them never to say it out loud.

Scott's father shows up and blames the lack of closure on Sheriff Stilinski. 

Kira's father humiliates her in class again.

When Mr. Yukimura asks Stiles to read in class, the letters start to slide down the page and he starts to panic. Scott takes him to the restroom and they determine it's not a dream.

Kira tries to take Scott's backpack to him but sees what appears to be Melia in the hallway and it chases her. Scott finds her and notices Stiles' backback has been torn open and the baby doll face is sticking out of it.

Gunfire erupts around Derek and Peter and a girl blasts her way into the basement where they are being held. It's motorcycle girl.

Scott, Stiles and Isaac got to Dr. Deaton for a horse tranquilizer so they can shoot the were-coyote. They need a perfect shot and also an Alpha who can talk the girl back into a girl even though she hasn't been one in eight years. Stiles suggests the twins, who greet Scott as if they're in Kill Bill.

Their plan is to make Scott turn no matter how afraid he is because they can always heal. They're going to beat the Alpha into him, but they need to work fast because Melia's father is crafting a horrible trap for his daughter.

Allison slips into an awful nightmare where she sees herself on an autopsy table and the mortician is her aunt. Her organs are still working and Kate is taking them out of her. They turn into werewolves and start to eat her alive, and she wakes to find herself pointing the gun at Isaac.

Sheriff Stilinski goes to Melia father's house and he has put out a lot of traps. They discover the coyote is in the house. They see it outside and the father grabs a gun. Scott and friends hear shots. 

Stiles' dad calls and tells him it took the doll again and to look out for traps. 

Stiles and Lydia look at the photo realize the person holding the doll is not Melia, and Stiles figures out what the coyote is doing. She took the doll to the site after the crash as if taking flowers to a grave. She just wants to take it back.

Alison tranqs the father before he can shoot the coyote.

Lydia gets stuck with a trap ready to close on her, and she needs Stiles to figure out how to fix it. She assures him he doesn't need to read to fix it, and she's right.

Scott makes a run for the car accident site and changes on the way. He is able roar and Melia turns back into a girl. Sheriff Stilinski takes her back safely to her father. Stiles looks into the rear view mirror and can read the message, "objects may be closer than they appear."

Derek, Peter and Motorcycle Girl open a case that holds something covered in ash. When she removes it from the trunk, the Nemeton seems to come to life, fireflies shoot out and then big plumes of ash.
