When Wolowitz gets a potential job working on a laser satellite, the job comes down to him passing a security clearance, in which each of the three main friends are interviewed by an FBI agent played by Eliza Dushku.  Sheldon ends up screwing up the interview by letting the Mars Rover incident slip.  After feeling guilty, Sheldon attempts to retract his comment to the FBI but is unable to say it's not true.  Unable to get his friend's job back, Sheldon offers the ultimate in apology: giving up his seat.
