Wow. Barry broke his back. It's only a week later, but he's almost totally healed. He's still not happy about it.

Harry wants access to the breech room and the speed cannon. He's going home before anyone else gets killed.

Caitlin doesn't want him to go. Cisco pretty much says don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. She's the only one who doesn't want to let him go.

Cisco gets a metahuman alert. It's for him. Never mind! Iris is in the dark again. He says it's for his date with Kendra. Then everyone teases him when he says he wants to take Kendra out for breakfast...he has his entire night planned.

Patty calls Barry. He is still "sick" but doesn't want her to bring chicken soup.

When Caitlin goes to talk Harry into staying, she inadvertently gives him a way to trap Zoom into coming to Earth 1 so they can kill him.

Cisco, meanwhile, touches Kendra and gets a vision of Hawkgirl, causing him to end his date prematurely. He thought it was a dude.

A doctor does something at the command of Grodd, who then sends him flying with a backhand.

Joe meets with Patty where Dr. Shore was killed. She has found weird hairs. 

Barry is fine, but he can't get himself together. He thinks all Central City sees now is someone who cannot protect them. Joe knows he's well and wonders who might be able to help. Iris knows.

Cisco is talking with Caitlin about the vision he had. Was it an angel? While he's talking about it, Cisco has a vision of her own. Of a surgical procedure and a giant syringe. Then she turns around and slugs Cisco in the face.

Patty got information on the drugs. They are both used to enhance intelligence. The hairs? From a gorilla. Joe's gotta go!

Cisco realizes that Caitlin was being mind controlled. Harry finds it amazing how similar our two worlds are, as they have talking gorillas on Earth 2, too. Nobody knows why Grodd took Caitlin. Barry is feeling sorry for himself, but Joe wants him to use his brain to help figure out why Grodd took her.

Grodd needs help. He wants to know how he became Grodd. She explains. He wants her to repeat. Not her explanation, but the process.

Daddy's home. Iris thought Barry needed both of his amazing dads. Henry has been fishing.

Cisco wants to get Harry to convince Grodd that he's his father to let Caitlin go. Barry was convinced! Henry was confused.

Cisco coaches Harry in being Harrison. Up the creep factor and pretend like you want to kill me. Sold!

Henry coaches Barry on how to move past what he's feeling about what happened with Zoom. He knows what it's like to be destroyed. He was destroyed because he had to watch everyone believe he killed the woman he loved in front of his son. But 11-year-old Barry running around believing in Barry gave him back his hope.

While Caitlin is explaining to Grodd how his brain was treated at birth, Harry enters. His mistake? Asking instead of taking. But Harry recovers pretty well while trying to get the drugs into his system. 

Caitlin doesn't want to kill Grodd because it's not his fault he's like he is. Harry says they should send him through a breech and back "home," but I'm not sure what the heck he means by that. To Earth 2?

Henry offers Barry to lure him to the breech. They'll fling him to Earth 2. But where on Earth 2 is his home? Barry falters. Caitlin says to trust her. They can give him a home now that they know what they want. Grodd is getting free so Henry talks Barry into trusting himself to give Grodd a nudge. He does and Grodd goes through.

When Barry leaves with his dad, Joe wonders what it would have been like if he had his "own" son. Iris assures him he would have been a fantastic father to any son.

Patty chides Barry for not trusting her with his father stuff. Well, she wants to make sure she can trust him.

Cisco takes a fruit and flowers basket to Kendra with an apology. Also, a digital movie projector with Princess Bride and then they pick up where they left off and his vision of the hawk continues. He finally sees it's a woman, and it's her.

Grodd finds himself at the preserve or whatever. There are apes carved in the mountains. He growls. Or howls? It's hard to tell if it's a good sound or a bad sound. Will we ever see him again?
