Chloe's mom gives her the "you're growing up" speech - no boys in your room, which seems so trivial in the face of everything else that is happening to her.

Brian invites Chloe on a date to a music festival, but she turns him down as she is concerned for his safety.

Valentina explains a bit of history to Chloe about the Mai and shows her an artifact that explains they have been awaiting her presence for thousands of years.

Chloe thinks she can and must handle Scar-Face on her own, but is foiled again. Valentina saves the day and Scar-Face is killed.
