- Charmaine: Are you going to say anything, or? Jack:How can you be so selfish? Charmaine: All I can do Jack is apoligize over and over. Jack: That's not good enough. Charmaine: I know! SO go ahead, yeall at me tell me what a terrible person I am. Jack: That's no why I'm here. I'm just tyring to understand. After everyting I did for you and Mel too.
- Charmaine: I lied to give the twins a future. Someone to provide for us. Isn't there a small part of you that can sympathize with that? Jack: You have my sympathy, not my forgiveness.
- Preeacher: I think I'm done with dating for a while. Too much work. Yeah, I'm going to focus on me. Jack: Hey, I'm all for that. Besides, you know, falling in love should be fun, man. Don't stress about finding the one jsut get out there, have fun. Make mistakes, get laid. Brie: Ohh, who's getting laid? Preacher Oh definitely not me. Jack: Preacher's taking a break from women. Brie: What? Dude are you kidding me? Yu're like the total package. YOu're smart, dependable, yo're an incredible cook.I mean, check out those arms, you're like a Greek god. Jack:OK no need to embarass my friend. Brie: You're going to be the best thing that ever happened to somebody when y9ou're ready.
- DocL Once you let yourself see how wonderful you are the right person will see it too. Charmaine: Thanks doc. Doc: Never too late to start believing in yourself.
- Jack: Are you sure there is nothing I can do? You were the victim of a horrible crime. Brie: I'm not a victim, Jack. I'm a survivor. Follow my lead.
- Jack: I never lied to you about what I wanted when we were together. Although my words were clear maybe my actions weren't, and that wasn't fair. And I'm sorry for that. Char: I've waited a long time to hear you say that. Thank you, Jack.
- Jack talks to Charmaine and tells her how he feels about her breaking his heart and ripping the twins away from him. She reminds him that now he knows how she feels breeaking her heart when falling for Mel.
- He tells her he doesn't forgive her.
- Brie tells Brady about the rock through the window being a threat and hwo confident she is of that despite his suggestion that it may be a teen. He promises he won't let anything happen to her.
- Mel goes on a run and reflects on her mother's death again.
- When she returns Jack tells her about talking to Charmaine before they have a morning love making session.
- She talks to a doctor and intends to drive Ava to a specialist after her incident.
- Jack has plans to hike with Brie because she wants to talk to him about something.
- Hope is determined to ambush the council and prove that they can't take her job away from her and enlist Lizzie's help as a speechwriter.
- Ava doesn't share much about her hospital visit.
- Cameron and Doc are still having tense moments since Doc expects Cameron to do all the things that Mel used to do and Cam refuses.
- Brady confronts Melissa and her latest henchaman Gene about Brie and throwing a rock through Brie's window.
- Brie talks to Jack about Don and what happened to her.
- Ava has endometriosis and that's what her episodes was. The doctor suggested a hysterectomy and Ava doesn't know what to do.
- Muriel offers to help Cameron with the insurance papers.
- Doc encourages Charmain amind all the gossiping around her.
- Brie tells jack about her assault and he supports her and wants to be there for her on the day of otrial but she doesn't want to worry about his reaction. She tells him that Brady has been her rock and she needs him to give Brady another chance. She invites them to dinner at her new place.
- Preacher talks about wanting to find love like his parents had and making his mom's recipes for comfort.
- A strong theme of mothers.
- Hope tells Denny and Lizzie about how she became the first and only mayor or Virgin River.
- Jack feels like he's been so caught up with Charmaine that he missed out on being there for everyone else, like Brie.
- Mel encourags Jack to also recognize where he went wrong with charmaine and own up to his mistakes to in order to properly move on.
- Cam stands up to Doc.
- Doc offers Muriel a part time position
- Hope opens the Lilly community garden and makes her plea.
- Charmaine drops by to talk to Mel. Jack apologizes to Charmaine.
- The coucil voted against Hope, and she's out.
- Jack and Brady talk a bit and Jack thanks Brady for being there for Brie but tells him the ball is in his court with them being cool again.
- Mel tells Jack about her mother while they listen to Songbird and that Chloe is named after the baby her mother lost.
- She tells Jack how becoming a nurse gave her that connection to her mother and how much she isses that and her mom. It feels different tahn the first time she was pregnant.
- Preacher is still reflecting on his own mother when he hears about the wildfires spreading from close by districts.
- Brady returns to the site after Jeb spent the evenging covering for him, but when he gets there, Jeb is on the floor unresponsive or possibly dead, and opened drugs are nearby.
