After Zoey and her family received heartbreaking news about Mitch's final phase of the disease, Zoey experienced a glitch in her powers. 

Rather than hearing other people's inner thoughts, she began displaying her own deep emotions through song and dance. 

She went to work singing and performing the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. In her reality she had backup dancers and music playing, but to others, she was dancing and singing by herself. 

As the team worked to prepare a pitch for Chirp to present to the CEO who was making a surprise visit, Zoey accidentally spilled her craziness to Joan and Leif. 

Despite her attempts to try and contain the music inside her, her body seemed to move on its own. She sang an incriminating song to the two about the secret kiss she witnessed the night before.

Once the CEO arrived and it was time for Zoey to discuss the timeline of Chirp she performed another song and dance. Max saw what was going on and ran in to join her and saved her. 

Following the meeting, Zoey thanked Max for his loyal friendship and began to sing him a heart song. She then went and sang a heart song to Simon. 

Max walked in on her performance to Simon and angrily left. 

Zoey chased after him and he told her that her song for him was about love while her song for Simon was lust. 

Simon approached her about the song she sang to him and they kissed!

Finally, she went home and stopped running from her dad. She faced the emotions that she had been working hard that day to suppress.
