Revenge Season 4: Best Episode, Worst Twist & More!

at .

Even though it was sad to see our favorite revengers go this year, we've still drummed up the best, the worst, and the weird of Revenge Season 4 for you!

While we loved Daniel and Emily's witty repartee, and Nolan's fantastic spinoff potential, we could have done without Ben what's-his-face, and greedy Grayson money grabs.

We've also got the moment that made you go "awwww" as well as the one that made you go WTF?

Tell us what you think of our list, and more importantly, start brainstorming ideas to get this spinoff on the air... pronto!

1. BEST EPISODE

The episode that stood out most this season had to be the one where David tricked Nolan into going on national television and humiliating himself. Not only did we get sister feels from Charlotte and Emily's team up, we got to see David get a little revenge action of his own when he assumed Nolan cheated Amanda out of her inheritance. A mixup of Shakespearean proportions!

2. WORST EPISODE

The series finale of Revenge felt like someone had written an awesome cliffhanger, found out they were cancelled, and then went back and wrote "And they all lived happily ever after, screw this, I'm out of here." Storylines like David's cancer and Emily's relationship with Jack were fast-tracked in a kind of embarrassingly obvious way that just didn't ring true.

3. WORST USE OF A SIDE CHARACTER

Ben showed some serious promise towards the beginning of the season, but eventually his storyline became totally bizarre. From one episode to the next he either adored Emily or hated her, and he was an ally then an enemy. Add in his weird ex-girlfriend episode and his out-of-nowhere death? Yeah, Ben was just all over the place.

4. SURPRISINGLY GOOD STORYLINE

Daniel and Emily's relationship was always dicey because of her big secret, but once the air was cleared and everything was out in the open... they were kind of amazing together. Their honest advice and almost-friendship felt like a refreshing change of pace for the characters, and we were sad to see it go when Daniel died.

5. AWWWWW MOMENT

Emily giving Jack a puppy at their wedding brought a tear to everyone's eyes. Sammy was the one to bring them together in Season 1, so it was a touching callback to see them adopt a new canine companion in the finale!

6. BIGGEST WTF? MOMENT

We've already picked the finale out as the worst episode of them all, but this particular finale moment was the worst of the worst. Victoria died and Emily received her heart in a last minute transplant? But then it was all a dream! Or was it...? Yeah, that was a pretty heavy dose of stupid right there.

7. BEST NEW CHARACTER

Louise might have been psycho-crazy half the time, but her sassy southernisms and friendship with Nolan redeemed her the other half of it. Nolan needed a friend all his own, and their Wonder Twin moments were equal parts touching and hilarious. If Louise hadn't turned on the Revengers towards the end of the season, we would have called her the best new character of the series!

8. WORST TWIST

David Clarke turning up alive was bound to happen eventually, but that didn't make it enjoyable. First we got the very murky reasoning behind Conrad locking him up instead of killing him, and then the whole Canadian mobster thing. As much as I loved seeing Emily reunite with her beloved father, the payoff of that reunion wasn't worth the hoops we had to jump through to believe his resurrection.

9. SPINOFF THAT MUST HAPPEN

Nolan. Revenging Nolan. Revenging Nolan at his beach club for the unfairly oppressed. Tell me you wouldn't watch the CRAP out of that? Nolan Ross using his hacking skills and obscene wealth to get justice for revengers around the world should be a spinoff, no quetsions asked! Hook him up with Takeda from Season 1, and you've got a school of vengeance thing going on!

10. MOMENT THAT MADE YOU SCREAM "FINALLY!"

Emily outing herself as Amanda Clarke had everyone sighing in relief. There was never a more clear sign that the show was drawing to a close than when Emily confessed to her true identity, but it's shoe the audience has been waiting to hear drop for four years now. And in true Emily fashion, she did it with shock and awe and lots of TV cameras.

11. STUPIDEST SUBPLOT

Why in the world did we sit through three episodes of greedy Victoria grabbing for Grayson money? Not that we didn't love Gina Torres as the diabolical black widow nurse, but the whole thing felt like we were just burning off time to reach the end of the season.

12. CHARACTER WHO NEEDS A SNUGGLE

Margaux, poor Margaux. We'll admit, she made some seriously stupid decisions that made us want to strangle her, but the girl had a rough year! First her dad dies, then her baby-daddy, then her baby! Her alliance with Victoria might have been aggravating, but at least it was understandable. And in the end, she did do the right thing by confessing to her part in Ben's death.

13. BEST REVENGE

This one goes to Victoria. It's not a compliment, really, to want to take someone down so badly that you're willing to go to the lengths that she and Amanda did through the years, but what she did with her fake suicide took the cake. Heck, even Madeleine Stowe, the actress who played Victoria, got in on the gag, giving interviews swearing Victoria really took her own life and she was done with the show in her attempts to win the war. Effectively killing Victoria Grayson and rising again as Mary Gaines was a great twist, but she still died in the end.

Revenge Quotes

Margaux: You're just like your father and mine. You do what you please and ask for forgiveness later. I need a man who doesn't make rash decisions.
Daniel: Really? Because you had that with Jack Porter and you needed more.

[to Aiden] Well, since you won't return my phone calls, I figured I'd use my Find a Former Friend app.
