Colin Egglesfield is the second actor to be cast in the controversial role of Josh Madden.
Growing up in Chicago from the age of 10 on, Colin wanted to follow his father into medicine. But this changed as he watched his sister Kerry perform as an actress and chose to take that path instead. Soap opera fans are ever so glad he did.
Egglesfield did enter medical school for a bit, however, and used the world of modeling to pay for it. After doing shoots for big companies such as Armani and Calvin Klein, he realized the potential that awaited him in this field. Ditching his scrubs, Colin enrolled in acting classes and landed small roles on shows like Nip/Tuck, Gilmore Girls and The $treet.
On September 20, 2005, he made his debut on All My Children. He was also named one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive that year.
