After moving to California, Jamie Ray Newman landed her first major recurring role as Kristina Carter Cassadine on the popular soap opera General Hospital. Since then, Newman has had several small parts on shows and has a major leading role in the upcoming ABC remake of the movie / novel Eastwick.
