Jay Kenneth Johnson was born February 24, 1977 in Springfield, Missouri.
He has had roles on The Young and the Restless and North Shore in addition to Days of Our Lives and won a role in the Aaron Spelling pilot Hotel. Jay is also the lead singer of the band Solid Jones. He has had guest appearances on The OC, Scrubs, CSI: New York, Charmed, and the show S Club 7.
Jay reprised the role of Philip Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives - he played the part from 1999-2002 - in January 2007. He has taken the character to new levels of darkness, matching those of the character's twisted father, Victor Kiriakis.
