Jeff Branson

Jeff Branson originated the role of All My Children's Jonathan Lavery in June, 2004. He was subsequently off the air from mid-April until August of 2005 while his character was believed dead in an explosion, but Branson remained on contract the whole time. The show always wanted him back.

Prior to landing this plumb role, Branson took advantage of a guest spot on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2000. He had a small part that year in the film Shaft. And in 2002, he was in the film Wolves of Wall Street.

In 2003, Jeff played the role of a younger Alan Spaulding on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. So far, the actor's career has been highlighted by a nomination in 2005 for a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on All My Children.

Greenlee Smythe Lavery: You didn't say a word?
Ryan Lavery: I wouldn't let myself, not until I was absolutely dead sure.
Greenlee Smythe Lavery: That...

Ryan Lavery: I got halfway to the Valley Inn, and I stopped. What the hell was I thinking?
Greenlee Smythe Lavery: I hated that you left.
Ryan Lavery: You're my wife. You're my beautiful wife. I'd be an idiot to be anywhere else.
Greenlee Smythe Lavery: I love you so much.
Ryan Lavery: I love you. This is where I should be, now and always. Come here. Come here.
