Orange Is The New Black Season 6 Trailer: Where's Alex?

It may seem like an eternity, but Orange is the New Black is back later this month, and Netflix has finally unveiled the trailer. 

The good thing is that it gives a lot away. 

We get to see the inmates in their new digs in Litchfield Max. Yes, the minimum security prison is no more, and it's all thanks to the riot. 

We knew there were going to be some big consequences for the ladies after the Orange is the New Black Season 5 ended. 

Piper, Alex, Red, Nicky, Gloria, Taystee, Cindy, Suzanne, Blanca, and Freida were all in the basement as armed officers headed in to bring the riot to a close. 

The trailer confirms nine of the women make it to maximum security, but there's one ominously missing: Alex. 

Now, this could all be a big ruse to get fans talking and Alex is fine, but it would be a big move to have her in a different prison or somewhere else entirely. 

The show loves to play with expectations, but it's hard to imagine Alex not being part of the show going forward. She and Piper are engaged, so we need to see them get to their happy place. 

What the trailer also teases is brand new inmates, and that could come at the expense of some of the other characters. 

There's a new woman who looks a little too close to Daya. Daya has had some troubling times of late what with her gunshot being the thing that started the riot. 

In any case, it would be good to see some good things happening to her. Yes, this is a show about prison, but some of the characters get the good stuff and Daya only ever seems to get given all the negative. 

Elsewhere, Lolly is back after a season away, and we're sure she's going to have lots to say about everything that's happened.
