Tales of the City: First Look and Premiere Date for Netflix Revival!
Paul Dailly at .Tales of the City has landed a summer premiere date at Netflix.
The streamer has announced the continuation of Armistead Maupin's books will bow Friday, June 7.
Netflix also dropped a first-look trailer, giving us our first look at the revival. Laura Linney is back as Mary Ann for the 10-episode revival.
Mary Ann makes her way back to San Francisco with the aim of reconnecting with both her daughter Shawna (Ellen Page) and her ex-husband, Brian (Paull Gross).

The action picks up 20 years after Mary Ann left them to pursue her career. It's unclear whether that career was a success.
However, Mary Ann gets close to Anna Madrigal (Olympia Dukakis), who still has the loving home on Barbary Lane, and there are some new additions to that home.
The only confirmed returnees are Linney, Gross, and Dukakis. They will appear alongside a slew of new cast members, including Murray Bartlett (Looking), Zosia Mamet (Girls) and Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire).
