As first reported by TV Guide Magazine, Orson Bean has landed the the recurring role of Roy on Desperate Housewives.

This 81-year old actor's character will be Karen McCluskey’s new - and equally antagonistic - boyfriend.

Series Creator Marc Cherry said we can expect Roy to “stick around for awhile" on the show. He's just the latest to join the cast of this ever-expanding hit.

In the last two weeks alone, Jeffrey Nordling and Beau Mirchoff have been added to the drama, while Jesse Metcalfe will return for a couple episodes.
