We already know that Dexter Morgan will face many obstacles on season four of Dexter, thanks to his new family.

But what about his old family, namely his visions of his late father, Harry?

Actor James Remar told E! Online that his character and his character's serial-killing son will work closely in the fall.

"This year we're more companions than adversaries. Last year we were butting heads a lot, and Dexter was very angry with me. At the end of last season, he offered me his forgiveness because he knew he was going to be a dad," Remar said. "This year we're having more of a grown-up relationship where he's an adult, he's a man in his majority, he's a father, so we spend time together in pursuit of bad people."

Dex, of course, will be busy with baby son Harrison. So Harry may have to get on him about prioritizing his killing, Remar aded.

"Harry is nagging at Dexter's purpose because he's trying to get off track this year, and Harry wants him to go after the Trinity Killer. We've got our work cut out for us."
