Desperate Housewives has found a wife for John Schneider.

A day after that series revealed that the Smallville veteran would portray the father of Brian Austin Green's character, we can confirm that Nancy Travis will play this handyman's mom. The actress most recently starred on The Bill Engvall Show.

Sounds like Green's Keith Watson will serve as far more than just a sweaty love interest for Bree, doesn't it?

Travis is booked for multiple episodes and will debut on the season's seventh installment.

Desperate Housewives premieres season number-seven, meanwhile, on September 26. We can't wait.
