Gossip Girl aired a strong episode this week, culminating in a major, emotional scene featuring Chuck and Blair, while setting the stage for what should be a wild few episodes to close out 2011.

As usual, the episode delivered a half dozen songs, capturing the mood perfectly and offering a soundtrack that coincided with the events that keep us buzzing about the show week after week:
