Now, Kate Mood is here to sell us on Booth and Brennan from Bones. Why do they deserve the honor? Read on for the answer.
Booth and Brennan share the electric sexual chemistry and easy camaraderie that develops from years of partnership and friendship, but somehow the writers have kept these two apart for six seasons. Talk about a tease!
At the end of Season 6, the two finally got together in a physical sense (off-camera, alas!), changing the dynamic of their relationship forever. Only a few episodes into Season 7, they are stronger than ever before, via a layered connection that transcends mere partnerships or relationships. While I was skeptical of this new status, I'm definitely sold on how closely bonded the two life partners are to each other this season, even if I would love to see some courtship in flashbacks.
The gambler and the scientist are together now - but their dynamic duo-ism started from the very beginning. The two are as different as can be and bring out the best in one another. Aside from the physical chemistry, a mutual respect grew from working together. And that's the essence of the series.
Bones is first and foremost a procedural, and B-Squared is the perfect partnership of a woman of science and a man of action. Even at their lowest personal points (whose heart didn't break when Bones rejected Booth in the 100th episode?!?), the two powered through cases and relied on each other. Is there any case that Brennan and Booth can't solve together? That's like asking if their baby girl will be gorgeous or smart... because she'll clearly get the best of both worlds.
Show some love for the veteran partners and vote for the dynamic duo below. And remember: the poll closes tomorrow at noon EST.
