2012 Grammy Awards: Moment of the Night

Adele returned to the stage following throat surgery, Bruce Springsteen opened with a rendition of his new single and Nicki Minaj levitated and confessed during some kind of exorcism-based performance.

But the moment of the night at the 2012 Grammy Awards could have been forecast long before LL Cool J kicked off the event with a prayer for the late Whitney Houston.

Jennifer Hudson simply stood in front of a microphone and a dark backdrop, belting out a version of Whitney's classic, "I Will Always Love You." It was a monumental task, but one the former American Idol finalist and Oscar winner accomplished as well as anyone could have expected.
