A few big names have signed on for a few interesting projects.

GENNA DAVIS, last seen on the small screen in Commander in Chief, will portray unconventional bail bondswoman and bounty hunter in the TNT drama Green, TV Line reports. With Dean Devlin on board to direct, the pilot is based on the real-life story of Mackenzie Green.

TONI COLLETTE, meanwhile, (pictured, United States of Tara) will anchor Hostages, a one-hour CBS drama from Jerry Bruckheimer. The Emmy winner will play a surgeon who that gets involved in a political conspiracy when her family is taken hostage.

Finally, JESSICA DE GOUW - set to return later this year as The Huntress in Arrow - will take on the female lead in NBC's Dracula, portraying the love interest of Jonathan Rhys Meyers' title character.

In The Newsroom news, conversely, Rosemarie DeWitt will no longer appear on Season 2 of this HBO hit due to re-shooting and scheduling changes. She had been booked as a high-powered attorney.
