Peter Sarsgaard Joins Cast of The Killing

Okay, The Killing Season 3, now you have our attention.

TV Line reports that Peter Sarsgaard has signed on for his first regular TV role, as the actor will come on board this revived AMC drama as Tom Seward, a death row inmate who has been committing violent crimes since the age of 10.

Born into poverty, the official character description adds that Seward "approaches every interaction with the goal of dominating it."

Elsewhere, Amy Seimetz has been cast as the struggling single mother of a missing teenager.

Both stars join Elias Koteas as new series regulars on The Killing, which will return later this year and focus on a new case, one wholly separate from the murder of young Rosie Larsen.
