A special time for the Time Lord is drawing near.

On November 23, BBC America will air the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special - and while a new promo for this unique episode does not feature footage from the 75-minute spectacular, it's still a must-watch for fans of the beloved series.

The video gives us a look at each of the Doctors over the years, along with narration from Matt Smith talking about "the day I've been running from all from life."

Watch now to also view some Daleks, the Ood and to prepare yourself your final look at Smith in this iconic role:
