One of the most underrated sitcoms on television is coming to an end.

Fox announced today that Raising Hope will air its series finale on April 4.

“On behalf of myself, Greg Garcia and Raising Hope‘s amazing cast and crew, I would like to thank our audience for tuning in and supporting us over the last four seasons,” executive producer Mike Mariano said in a statement.

“We planned our Season 4 finale with this possibility in mind, and hope our loyal fans enjoy the way we’ve chosen to say goodbye to the Chances and to Natesville. Thanks again, and we’ll see you in syndication.”

Star Lucas Neff chimed in via Twitter with:

"Thanks for watching! Thanks to the writers, directors, cast mates + fans who made it possible. Goodbye, Jimmy."

The first half of the hour-long finale will be titled “How I Met Your Mullet,” and feature Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey) as Jimmy and Sabrina’s new maid.

Then, in “The Father Daughter Dance” (airing at 9:30), Tambor will return as Virginia’s dad and Kenny Loggins will perform.

FOX Quotes

Very disappointed. Personally, I really don’t want to come back. I’d rather face the killer than backstabbers. At least I know what the motives are behind the killer.

[To Andy] If I make it back here, your ass is grass! And I’ve made sure of that.
