The doctors on The Mindy Project may be checking in for a third season of this Fox sitcom.

But the receptionist is checking out.

Sources confirm to TV Line that Zoe Jarman will not return in the fall as a series regular on the series, though the actress "has been asked to guest star," so the upcoming finale may not be the last we see of Betsy Punch.

The Mindy Project has juggled a number of casting moves since it launched in 2012.

Heading into Season 3, in fact, Mindy Kaling, Chris Messina and Ed Weeks will be the only original cast members still remaining.
