We have our first piece of Sons of Anarchy Season 7 casting news.

And it's an unexpectedly awesome one!

FX has announced that Marilyn Manson will recur on the final season of this drama, coming on board as a white supremacist in prison who uses Jax to "expand his power base."

This, of course, also reveals that Jax will actually spend time behind bars... not exactly a shocking outcome considering the concluding scene of Sons of Anarchy Season 6.

Manson has a new album on the way, along with an upcoming tour, and said in a statement that he reached out to creator Kurt Sutter for the role.

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's,” said Manson.  “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema.  After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship.  So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

The final Sons of Anarchy season revs up this fall.
