Rachel Berry may not appear on your small screen until Glee Season 6 premieres some time in 2015.

But Lea Michele will stop by your living room long before that.

The actress herself confirmed today via Twitter that she'll guest star on Sons of Anarchy Season 7, teasing fans with the following message:

"I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX."

Neither Michele nor Kurt Sutter revealed details related to the star's character, but this isn't the first time SOA ha thought outside the casting box.

Previous big names to appear in surprising roles have included Ashley Tisdale as a prostitute and Joel McHale as a biker.

This season alone, Courtney Love will recur as a school teacher and Marilyn Manson will play a white supremacist.

Sons of Anarchy returns with new episodes on Tuesday, September 7.

UPDATE: According to TV Line, Michele will appear in the October 14 episode as Gertie. The character will be a truck stop waitress and single mother who connects in some way with Gemma.
