Ready to meet Mona's mother?
ABC Family has confirmed that Sydney Penny has been cast on Pretty Little Liars Season 5 in the recurring role of Leona Vanderwaal, the woman who brought Janel Parrish's mysterious character into the world.
No word yet on when Penny will debut on the drama, but the actress is likely best known for her 2011 role of Dr. Liv Norman on Days of Our Lives.
She also starred on All My Children for many years as Julia Keffer and appeared on an episode of Drop Dead Diva.
Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 6 airs tomorrow night at 8/7c. Here's an extended, photographic look at what's to come:
