First, the bad news: Outlander Season 1 Episode 8 will mark the midseason finale of this Starz hit drama.

But now the good news: the network has given fans a date to circle on their calendar.

Outlander will finish off its first season run on APRIL 4, 2015, airing its concluding eight episodes on consecutive Saturday nights from that point on.

The series - adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling novels and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore - has already been picked up for a second season.

It tracks the tale of Claire Randall, a time-traveling British native who is sent back to 18th century Scotland and forced to marry Jamie Fraser, young Scottish warrior who makes it difficult for Claire’s to decide between two very different men in two irreconcilable lives.

Following Outlander Season 1 Episode 7, fans may be sad to wait so long for new installments.

But they may need that long to fans themselves off all the way as well.
