After dealing with the horrifying return of 3XK and the dramatic aftermath on Castle Season 7 Episode 15, it’s more than time for Castle and Beckett to have a little fun.

And what better way to have some adventure than to solve a murder on Mars?

OK, so it’s not really Mars but our dynamic duo still has to don spacesuits and Castle attempts to run as though gravity is holding him down.

• It’s written by Terri Edda Miller and directed by Paul Holahan.
• Castle, Beckett, and Esposito all put on spacesuits. Ryan opts out. He’s got his reasons.
• There are homages to 2001, Alien, Star Trek. and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
• Things at the loft get crowded and Castle calls a family meeting but gets unexpected results.
• We find out what Ryan really thinks of Jenny’s grandma.
• Castle and Beckett are addressed as “Hey Castles”
• Castle wonders why he’s always on the bottom.
• Beckett tells Castle, “If you think that’s how I’d get pregnant we need to talk.”

Prepare for murder, mystery and plenty of fun on Mars in Castle Season 7 Episode 16. “The Wrong Stuff.” scheduled to air Monday, February 23 on ABC.
