Raise your hand if you saw that coming!

My hand is not raised because once again this show continues to surprise me. How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 12 saw another person brought into the murder cover up club and it also saw someone get arrested.

SPOILER ALERT! Hot Nate was arrested! Hot Nate was set up! Hot Nate will be in an orange jumpsuit next week!

While that was the big shocker of the evening, the rest of the episode was packed with a lot of drama as well.

Let's just brush over the case of the week quickly, because it was rather forgettable really. Annalise was defending a drug smuggling mobster named Paul Lombardo, who was set up to go down on drug charges. With the discovery of Sam's remains, everyone wondered why she was so interested in trying the case, but Annalise was looking for a distraction.

We all saw what happens to Annalise when she has time to be in her own head. She drinks an entire mini-bar and stays away from the sunlight.

After finding the employee that was bribed to set up Lombardo, he identified the Prosecutor of the case as the one who asked him to do it. This Prosecutor had a long standing vendetta against the family and it wasn't all that shocking to find out he was behind it all.

While the case was definitely less intriguing then everything else happening, we did get this amazing exchange between Annalise and crime family head, Leo Lombardo.

Leo: Annalise, you're a single lady now. Call me if you get lonely. What? Chocolate and Italian wine always pair well together.
Annalise: My husband was just found murdered, Leo.
Leo: Yeah and you don't seem to sad about that.
Annalise: Maybe I'm a good faker.

I thought Annalise should have played up the sadness over Sam's death more, but then I remembered that she'd pretty much just proven a few weeks earlier that Sam killed Lila Stangard. People process grief differently. And someone who just went out of their way to prove their husband was a killer, probably isn't going to have a public breakdown over his death.

One person who was breaking down was Hannah. Once she heard Sam was murdered, she immediately pointed her finger at Annalise.

She killed him. And she, she tried to hide it by making it seem like he was missing and that he had killed that girl, but he didn't. She did it. That's her. She's the murderer.

Hannah

When she went to the police and began to speak of Annalise's past, I was very intrigued. What was Annalise's upbringing like? Did she really come from a violent home? Looks like these are questions that may be answered next week with the arrival of Annalise's mother.

There were two great relationship dynamics on display tonight and they involved Annalise and Frank and Annalise and Bonnie.

So, Frank's not a lawyer, duh, but he is clearly some kind of expert criminal that must owe his life to Annalise because he does everything she says. If there is one thing I am desperate to find out before this season is over, it's the connection between the two of them. At this point, their bond is the strongest on the show.

Have there been some clues about their connection I haven't picked up on? If so, point those out in the comments, please.

Now Bonnie and Annalise once seemed thick as thieves, but that all went to hell after Bonnie locked lips with Sam. But Bonnie stayed loyal to Annalise and tonight she put it all together.

You're not going to get away with this, Annalise. Not if you keep avoiding the police. Hannah's smart. She loves Sam too much not to solve this. And I know why you want to protect them, but they're sneaking off all the time to talk. You didn't do this. They did. Don't let them ruin you.

Bonnie

I thought for sure she was going to turn on Annalise and blackmail her or something. Bonnie was very affected by Sam's murder and after all she's been though, it wouldn't have been surprising if she finally turned on her mentor. She stuck by Annalise though, so good for her, I guess.

Anyone else feeling like WAY to many people are in on this cover-up now? Well, everyone except poor Asher.

The murder crew was still reeling and still on edge. Laurel has been pretty calm since things started, but she reached her breaking point tonight and finally showed some vulnerability. I loved her scene with Frank, as he just stood there as a way of comforting her. Frank may be a criminal mastermind, but he does have a soft side when it comes to her.

Connor was being Connor, which is to say he was as paranoid as ever. Annalise did her best to remind him that she was on his side but I'm not really sure if it worked. If someone is going to break, it's going to be Connor. Kid just doesn't know how to not worry.

Wes was still researching the mysterious case of Rudy Walters. Tonight he found out Rudy never collected his security deposit and the last night he was seen at the apartment, he was being led away by the police. And who called the police? Ding, ding, ding, shady Rebecca, that's who.

People have speculated Rebecca had something to do with Rudy's disappearance and I think it's safe to say she knows more than she's telling.

Anyone else fooled by the ring switcheroo at the end? Michaela was sweating bullets, but it turns out the cops didn't find her enormous diamond. No, they found Sam's ring with a strategically placed fingerprint on it, belonging to one Mr. Hot Nate.

That was a crazy reveal and I can't wait to see where this is going. So far it looks like the crew really is going to get away with murder, but if this show has shown us anything so far, it's that everything can be turned upside down in an instance.

Okay guys, it's your turn to chime in and tell me what you thought about "She's A Murderer". Will Annalise get away with framing hot Nate? What is the connection between Annalise and Frank?

Leave me a comment now and let's discuss. Remember, there are only a few episodes left so you better watch How to Get Away with Murder online so you don't get left behind.

Whatever you say to the police, can and will be misconstrued to support the prosecution. So when in doubt, shut your mouth.
