It’s the season finale and although “The Party’s Over” on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 19 the drama lives on. We recap it all in our +/- review.
Before we get to Adrienne Maloof’s latest shindig, let's pick up where we left off with Kim and Kyle Richards.
One moment Kim was ripping Kyle apart for stealing their mother’s house and she swore she was done with her sister. The next morning she’s smiling at Kyle as she makes breakfast.
Minus 50. I can’t tell if it’s just crazy mood swings, the effects of some sort of medication or a serious psychological disorder but watching Kim Richards is like watching several personalities in one body. It’s hard to keep up.
Kyle laments that their mother taught them never to air their dirty laundry in public…that must be why they both decided to sign up for a reality TV show!
The most normal moment of the night was watching Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna share a toast as their kid’s swing set was taken down. Of course most of us don’t have staff to do that for us but this is Beverly Hills so plus 23.
Nicky Hilton had a book signing at Kyle’s store and Paris Hilton even showed up in support. Kyle recalls how Nicky was on Vogue’s best dressed list when she was only 15-years-old so she must have amazing taste, right? No Kyle, she just has amazing amounts of money and connections and probably a top-notch stylist.
Heading over to Adrienne Maloof’s party at Never Hungover…didn’t Brandi seem as though she was well on her way to one?
This might be cold but if Brandi is so darn distraught over her father’s health and fears he may die at any moment, shouldn’t she be by his bedside and not making a scene at some party in Beverly Hills? Minus 30.
Plus 21 to Lisa Vanderpump for standing her ground and not caving in to the emotional blackmail.
Kim confronted Lisa Rinna in this The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills quote…
I just said that Kyle said that you said that Brandi said so I'm asking you what you said.Kim Richards
Wow, I almost can’t blame Lisa for looking like a deer in the headlights. That sentence makes me dizzy. Minus 25.
The whole who said what to whom has gotten kind of ridiculous. Does any of it matter any more? Kim may be sober but she still acts crazy. Plus 10 to Mauricio who ran from that table as quick as he could.
No one can say the ladies didn’t go all out in their dress selection. Brandi’s barely had a front to it. As a matter of fact I’m not entirely sure she didn’t have it on backwards. And where else but a Housewives party can you hear, "Your nipple's hanging out. And how is your dad?" Plus 33.
Camille and Kyle wore dresses I would have picked out for 20-somethings but they certainly looked amazing in them. Although I’m not sure Camille’s dress was proper attire for a princess, although I can’t say the Prince of Denmark seemed to mind.
At the end we learned that Yolanda’s Lyme disease came back, and Kim’s dog (I was wondering where Kingsley was all season) bit Kyle’s daughter Alexia.
Lisa Rinna did a guest role on CSI while Lisa Vanderpump simply hopes her daughter Pandora will make her a Grandmum some time soon.
And Eilleen Davidson is now doing double duty working on both The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives because life on two soap operas still isn’t as dramatic as being a Housewife!
Episode total = -18! Season total = -449!
