The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 21 Review: Chasing Nay-Nay

at .  Updated at .

NeNe Leakes returns to Atlanta for a charity event on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 21 and Claudia Jordan is set on bringing Nay-Nay out to play.

That's...probably not a smart move. But it will definitely make for some great drama! Let's get to it!

Cynthia tries to dress her daughter Noelle, 15, for her first homecoming. Noelle just wants to dress simply and Cynthia tries to throw some blingy stuff at her. She's not having it.

Kenya comes over to visit with Cynthia and Noelle, too. She apparently loves hanging out with Noelle? Weird. She offers to give Noelle some tips and Cynthia gives her a side-eye. Plus 2.

Noelle's dresses are adorable, if a little short for my taste on a teenager. Kenya gives her some confidence tips. Be confident but not conceited. Like Kenya has any idea how to pull that off.

NeNe and Gregg are living in the city while she's on Broadway. Gregg takes her to lunch at a restaurant and tells her that someday she'll be up on the wall and she says she should be on it already.

With Brentt sitting right next to him, they start discussing rules for their teenage son living in New York. Have his phone on him at all times and don't walk further away than a block. Hey Gregg, Free Range Parenting. Look it up.

Minus 12 for the sight of NeNe eating a French fry.

Kandi gets a visit from Kwame, her stylist, who overhears her talking to Carmon about remote control panties. He's there to help her get dressed for a date night with Todd who, after only one session with the counselor, has decided to step up his game and take her out. Their sex life is still on the rocks though.

Riley hates the cleavage in Kandi's first choice. That means Kandi will probably wear it.

Phaedra Parks has returned to the office following her return from the Philippines. She sits down with Kalisha and tells her about colonics and her tour guide. After thinking about the tour guide's story, Phaedra wants to have a men's rally for minority boys who are dealing with an absent parent. Plus 15.

She calls up her pal David Johns, White House Czar, to ask for help and he's eager to pitch in.

Kandi meets Todd at Thrive for dinner. He brings flowers. Plus 10. It's been two weeks since they've seen each other. She asks what she did to deserve a wonderful evening and he says he's doing his homework. Very unsexy, Todd Tucker.

He brings up their one-year anniversary looming on the horizon and she says they were together all the time prior to getting married but now it's like they're not together at all. Todd's show was greenlit for a second season so now he's going to be in LA.

Kandi really wants a baby and their timing is just terrible for all of it.

He wants her to come out to LA and do music while he's out there. She has Riley and Riley has school. She can't be gone from her daughter for weeks at a time and it doesn't really seem like Todd's thinking about the fact that he just moved HIS daughter to Atlanta.

This is all kinds of jacked up.

Cynthia's hanging out in her closet when Peter comes in and tells her that her ass got bigger while she was in the Philippines. Minus 4

She fills him in on the NeNe-free time they had and tells him about Phaedra's charity event and then asks him to teach her to speak with a Jamaican accent.

Kenya's preparing for her Life Twirls On pilot. She's obviously stressed. Cynthia's not helping. She's getting the accent down, but she's stressed about bringing her A-game and being more than just a pretty face, which stresses Kenya out.

She ends up nailing it, according to Kenya. Plus 8.

Phaedra's event is on and she's pulled out all the stops for these boys. As Claudia says, it's the right time for this. Phaedra enters with a drumline and while that might seem a little over the top, it's the kind of thing the boys will eat up.

She gets a strong group of Black male speakers to talk to the boys and she has the girls get together to serve the meal. They're all more than willing to help. Kandi and Todd are meeting with Dr. Jackie, but NeNe has flown in from NYC to help with the event.

Cue the drama.

It's palpable the minute NeNe enters the room. She's only there to support Phaedra and isn't interested in seeing any of the other women at all. Phaedra puts NeNe, Cynthia, and Claudia on the assembly line and has them plating meals while she and Porsha serve the meals.

Claudia immediately brings up the day NeNe walked out of the Dr. Jeff session and the Philippines and geez, why can't Claudia just shut her damn mouth. Not the time, not the place. Minus 45.

In the meeting room, Peter grabs the mic and, I think, calls the boys in attendance stupid. Uhhhh....minus 20.

Porsha and Phaedra start serving the meals and Claudia can't shut her mouth and leave NeNe alone, so NeNe tries to walk out and Claudia just goes after her. Kenya pulls her back into the kitchen, arriving just in the nick of time. Plus 5.

Porsha comes back into the kitchen and tells the women they can hear the argument happening. Phaedra and Porsha go out to talk to NeNe and she says she's leaving because she doesn't want to be around that negativity. It did get pretty negative in that kitchen.
