There is soon to be another woman in Jamie Fraser's life.
Margaux Chatelier has landed the role of Annalise de Marillac, Jamie's ex-girlfriend, and she'll probably be making a splash somewhere in France during Outlander Season 2.
Let's be honest, we don't think Annalise will be a threat given the strong bond Jamie has formed with Claire, but it's always interesting to have more backstory from our favorite characters.
Another French actor has also been enlisted for the season, Marc Duret, who will play Monsieur Joseph Duverney, the Minster of Finance to Louis XV, who becomes a chess buddy to Jamie. Jamie has all kinds of secrets coming out in Season 2. Who knew he played chess?
Outlander Season 2 is shaping up quite nicely, with many new characters coming on board given the new Parisian setting. Just yesterday Dominique Pinion joined as Master Raymond, and we've seen Stanley Weber as Le Compte St. Germain and Robert Cavanah as Jared Fraser board, as well.
