Sendhil Ramamurthy to Reprise Role on Heroes: Reborn

Another Hero is set to be Reborn.

As first reported by Deadline, Sendhil Ramamurthy will reprise the role of Dr. Mohinder Suresh on the upcoming NBC reboot of this drama.

The character helped assemble the original Heroes team back in the day, investigating those who seemed to possess supernatural abilities.

Since leaving Heroes, Ramamurthy has gone on to play key roles in hits such as Covert Affairs and Beauty and the Beast.

It's unclear how many Heroes: Reborn episodes the actor will appear in, but he joins a cast that includes:

Jack Coleman (as Noah “HRG” Bennet), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian) and Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) as returning players.

Meanwhile Zachary Levi, (Chuck), Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black), Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time) and Ryan Guzman (Pretty Little Liars) are on board as newbies.

Heroes: Reborn will air on Thursday nights this fall.
