The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 1 Review: Life's a Pitch

The ladies are back in all of their blinged out, botoxed glory on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 1

Who’s back?

Lisa Vanderpump who brings some serious bling to baseball when she’s asked to throw out the first pitch for the LA Dodgers special LGBT Pride Night.

The baseball cap is pink sequins, and although Ken encourages her to wear trainers (we’re assuming that's the Brit’s term for sneakers), she just can’t bring herself to do it. Does she even own a pair?

Hey, at least she wore a six-inch wedge sandal instead of six-inch spiked heels. Now that could have gotten dangerous!

But it was the Dodger’s catcher, A.J. Ellis, who may have been in real danger when he dropped by Lisa’s home to help her practice. Lisa and her assistant openly drooled over the gorgeous hunk of baseball player, and when he asked Lisa if she was at all athletic, she responded,

I'm a bit of a sexual athlete, if you know what I mean.

Meow! The cougar claws were out. Good thing Ken was chaperoning.

Later, Lisa V. caught up with on again/off again pal Kyle Richards who was just perusing $75,000 rose gold sunglasses.

Since I generally break or lose a pair of sunglasses once every six months, I think I’ll have to pass on those.

Turns out Kyle and sister Kim haven’t chatted recently. Maybe that has to do with Kim’s jail time, although according to Kyle, her sis is now in rehab.

Kyle’s got sister issues all the way around as big sis Kathy is upset that Kyle’s selling a TV pilot script about her childhood. As if airing all of the family’s dirty laundry on reality TV weren’t enough.

Eileen Davidson is still on The Young and the Restless where she’s currently in a threesome with her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend…well, her character is any way. Eileen is redecorating her home. We love you Eileen, but Brandi’s “eclectic American psycho” description wasn’t too far off the mark, so we’re happy you’re decluttering.

It’s Lisa Rinna’s birthday, and she’s thrilled to have the Oprah Winfrey Network dropping in to do a Where Are They Now segment on her, even if she isn’t a big enough star to warrant an actual visit from Oprah. As she says in this The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills quote

I have this kind of underlying fear that on my tombstone it will say, “She wore diapers.”

Lisa Rinna

We’re pretty sure it will also say something about her lips.

Although we don’t think we’d buy the “Two Words. One Finger.” t-shirt for the kids, it is good to hear that 17-year-old Delilah has a job at a deli. Even if the wages probably won’t pay for her new car, it’s good to see a kid in Beverly Hills with some sort of a work ethic.

Finally we get to Yolanda Foster who drags herself out to Lisa Rinna’s birthday dinner. Yolanda’s been battling Lyme disease for three years now and she’s not getting out much.

She even shows up to the party without makeup! In Beverly Hills?!?

Gasp!

Everyone tells Yolanda how good she looks to her face and then the minute she walks out the door it’s all, OMG, she looked terrible!

We want to throw a party where all of the Housewives and their spouses show up sans makeup.

Can Bravo write that one into their next contracts? If they don’t, we doubt any of them will show.

Check back next Thursday for our review of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 2 when we assume we’ll finally meet the two newest Housewives, and if you can’t wait until then, you can watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online here at TV Fanatic.
