Vinyl: Renewed for Season 2 by HBO!

at .

Put on your dancing shoes, Vinyl will be grooving for a long time.

HBO's president of programming, Michael Lombardo made the announcement of Vinyl's second season pickup today.

Vinyl has so far only aired one, two-hour episode, but reviews for it have been outstanding.

Music in the '70s - Vinyl

The series stars Bobby Cannavale as record company executive Richie Finestra, who is trying to reinvent the music business to save his record company and his soul without destroying himself and everyone in his path.

From the creative team of Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter and Mick Jagger, there is a lot of talent, knowledge and experience to bring the music industry of the early '70s at the dawn of punk, disco and hip hop to light in great detail.

Vinyl also stars Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor.

If you didn't catch Vinyl Season 1 Episode 1, I can't urge you enough to put it on your to-do list. It only gets better from here.
