TV Ratings Report: This Is Us Put Family First

at .  Updated at .

Ratings sure are a lot of fun, right?

CBS and NBC are literally beating each others doors down on Tuesday nights, but they're fighting for different audiences. CBS seems fine with the over 54 crowd, while NBC is making a killing going for the coveted demo 18-49 and smashing the doors with 25-54.

Let's take a look.

Pearson Family Christmas - This Is Us Season 1 Episode 10

NBC led the night as This Is Us gained 0.1 from its airing last week to come in at 2.8 for the fall finale. It captured just under 11 million viewers and a 3.7 rating in the 25.54 crowd. The Voice had just over 10 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the demo. Chicago Fire's 100th episode had 7.7 million viewers and a 1.7.

CBS came in second with NCIS in the lead with 14.5 million viewers and a 1.7 in the demo, down 0.2 from the previous week, and 2.7 in 25-54. Bull was close behind with 11.5 million viewers and 1.5 and NCIS: New Orleans delivered 9.3 million and 1.2, both latter shows steady from the previous week.

ABC was having a tough time with their lineup. The Middle dropped 0.2 to a 1.4, American Housewife dropped 0.1 to a 1.4, Fresh Off the Boat dropped 0.2 to a 1.1 and The Real O'Neals dropped 0.2 to a 0.8. OUCH. Marvel's Agent of SHIELD remained steady from the previous week with a 0.8 and 2.5 million viewers. They did reach 1.0 in the 25-54 demo.

The CW saw a decline in ratings with The Flash from crossover week. It was down 0.3 (the entirety of the No Tomorrow audience, BTW) to 1.2 with 3.1 million viewers. No Tomorrow was steady at 0.3 and 860k viewers.

FOX saw no change in their lineup from the previous week. Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 1.0, New Girl at 0.8 and Scream Queens at 0.5 all remained steady.
