The ladies of Litchfield will stage their return for Season 5 on June 9, 2017.
The kind folks over at Netflix have released the first 60 seconds of the premiere, and it sure looks like things are going to be crazy.
Picking up at the same point Orange Is The New Black Season 4 ended, Dayanara will be holding a gun at one of the officers in the wake of Poussey's death.
That death will have an echo effect on the latest batch of episodes, with the whole season spanning three days.
Yes, it's definitely a new way to tell the tale, and we're actually digging it.
That will pave the way for a more intricate storyline for our favorite characters as they navigate their prison life with death heavy on their minds.
With Alex and Piper very much worrying about their next move in the wake of what went down for them, will they try to keep a low profile?
That question is answered in the first look released by Netflix, and it does nothing to prove they are completely innocent.
In fact, something tells me they are going to be caught for their crime pretty quickly.
Would they get more time inside, or moved to a different facility altogether?
That's one of the more interesting questions.
The teaser also seems to confirm that Dayanara shoots the gun, but we have no clue whether anyone dies in the shootout.
Would the inmates be able to continue on if another one of them lost their life?
We'll have all the answers to that when the series returns with 13 new episodes.
