Starting your own business isn't as easy as just opening the doors and expecting customers to step inside.

It's even more difficult when you're starting a virtual business. That's a lesson Abby and Barbara learned on Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce Season 4 Episode 1 when their new site, "Lady Parts" went online for the first time.

As their new venture is very similar to mine, I can identify on a level that's far too real what it's like to watch traffic numbers. The highs are infrequent. Waiting for that celebrity tweet that sends traffic your way can be addicting.

Many people don't even understand the benefit an "influencer" has upon a virtual product like a blog until they sit right in front of the numbers like Abby and Barbara were doing. Then it's a heady feeling. 

The short-term power can go to your head. Long-term success comes from making what you write valuable enough people come back just to see what you've written. That's when things get really interesting.

With all of the experience Abby and Barbara have had writing and pitching over the years, they're going to have a successful site. Expecting miracles overnight and feeling down when the numbers don't soar could get the better of them if they don't keep an eye on their behavior.

Abby: Can I just say something?
Barbara: I feel like you're about to.
Abby: I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else but you.

They make a great team, though. Better than either of them would be with anyone else. They've grown beyond being frightened of what the other might say, and they can speak freely. 

It's so refreshing for a friendship to be at that level so quickly after meeting. They have known each other the least of everyone, but their bond is one of the strongest. 

It's too bad Phoebe has known everyone for such a very long time and still has issues with almost everything that comes out of their mouths.

When she decided to put her marriage on hold to jet around the world as Gemma's art procurement director, a part of her was hoping to be back in the good graces of society.

She's further away from her husband than ever (both emotionally and physically), and her friends rarely see her. She is pushing them away so she can keep her secrets.

Her secrets are that she's no closer to living her old life now than she was when she was with JD. She's a well-paid employee. Phoebe likes to fool herself into thinking she's Gemma's pal, but she's not.

She doesn't keep her friends from Gemma's parties because Gemma wouldn't allow them there, but because Phoebe is treating her friends the same way Gemma is treating her. It's a defense mechanism. She doesn't want her friends to know the truth about her position with Gemma.

Gemma noticing Phoebe's bracelet from JD and hearing the touching story about how he got it for Phoebe meant nothing to Gemma. Want. Have. She's no friend of Phoebe's. She capped it off by denying Phoebe entry to the remainder of her night, which was only for close friends. Ouch.

Yet I'd expect nothing more from Phoebe because she has no self-esteem. Her abusive childhood only reminded her she is worth nothing. She's a pretty thing to hang onto others like haute couture. What a shame.

Delia is enjoying her legal work with the masses very much. 

She said she was going to stick with it after her community service was over, and she kept her word. The new digs are a lot nicer than where she was working before, but the counsel she's giving is similar.

She even kicked things up a notch and decided to go after one of the big guys. That got her into a bit of trouble at Gemma's party, and it was rather heartwarming to see someone at that level get knocked down a peg for a change.

After the argument Barb and Abby had over influencers, Abby saw Will at the party, too, and even though she tried to connect with his date, the girl wasn't working with a full deck of cards. 

She didn't share that information with Barbara when she was explaining why she didn't feel comfortable hitting them up for an influencer moment, but she got the job done with Will's help anyway. 

Even better, it was just cool to have Will back. He wasn't dating his date, just hanging out. Will was my favorite out of all the men Abby went through after Jake, and he'd have my vote if she wanted to settle into something monogamous.

He had no faults if I remember right. He was just the right man at the wrong time. Abby wanted to try again with Jake, and Will got hung out to dry. If we see him again, I'm not going to complain.

The connection has finally been made between Jo and Delia by Albert.

What he's going to do about it is up in the air, but he has a connection with Jo. They seem more of a fit for each other than Delia and Albert. There is also too much baggage between Albert and Delia for it ever to mean anything.

Is Albert still married? Why is he using the name Rex at the pow wow? He is still hiding many facets of himself, so maybe he's not ready for anything but to fight men and women while he tries to figure his ish out. 

Abby is going to need her friends after seeing Lilly screwing her boyfriend. I can't remember his name, but isn't she kind of young? Early high school?

It makes me so sad that girls move head first into sex at such a young age. There is so much else they can be doing that is still fun sexually but without worrying about babies and being so darned adult.
