It has been too long since she has graced the small screen as a leading lady. Thankfully, the wait is over with the eagerly anticipated Ten Days In the Valley, in which Sedgwick stars and produces.
Ten Days in the Valley will focus on Jane. She's a flawed, complex single mother and television producer who balances a high-stress job, raising her daughter, and fighting her ex for custody. When her daughter disappears, Jane's entire world is thrown off kilter.
Ten Days in the Valley bolsters an impressive cast and should be an instant hit.

1. Jane Sadler - Ten Days In the Valley
Kyra Sedgwick reclaims her spot as a leading lady on primetime television for the first time since The Closer. She stars as Jane, a hard-working television producer, and single mom. After producing an award winning documentary that brought down the SDPD, Jane used her skills to produce a crime procedural. When her daughter goes missing she does whatever it takes to find her while clashing with her ex, juggling the Robbery Homicide Division, and protecting her own secrets.
2. Lake Sadler - Ten Days In the Valley
Young talent, Abigail Pniowsky, stars as Lake Sadler. Lake is Jane and Pete's young daughter. Lake mysteriously disappears one night while Jane is working, and her disappearance is what sets the season's events into motion.
3. Pete - Ten Days In the Valley
Sense8's Kick Gurry starts as Pete. He's Jane's ex and the father of Lake. He and Jane have a tumultuous relationship, and they are engaged in a vicious custody battle when Lake disappears. He's a music producer and recovering heroin addict. He's also the first person Jane thinks is responsible for Lake's disappearance.
4. Ali Petrovich - Ten Days In the Valley
Parenthood's Erika Christensen stars as Ali Petrovitch. Ali is Jane's younger half sister. She is sweet and practical. She and Jane have a complicated relationship that stems from Ali not approving of Jane's choices. Ali also has her own difficulties conceiving a child. She's either just as driven to find Lake as Jane, or she's a reasonable suspect behind Lake's disappearance, especially if she disapproves of Jane's parenting style and choices.
5. Tom - Ten Days In the Valley
Ed and Ozark star Josh Randall plays Tom, Ali's husband. He's described as extremely ambitious. He's an unemployed journalist who is desperately looking for his next big break. The disappearance of a famous television show producer's daughter is exactly the type of story that could get him back in the game. It's also the type of thing that makes him suspicious. Could he be behind Lake's disappearance? He has a motive.
6. Matt - Ten Days In the Valley
Every powerful woman needs a trusty sidekick, and Matt is Jane's. The incomparable Malcolm-Jamal Warner plays Matt, Jane's second-hand. He's the head writer of the show Jane produces. Despite being her right-hand man, he can never quite appease her. He's ambitious and desperately wants his own series one day. Could one day be sooner rather than later, and is he just desperate enough to take Lake? Tune in to find out!
7. Gus Tremblay - Ten Days In the Valley
Theater talent, Francois Battiste, stars as Gus Tremblay. Gus is an undercover detective for the narcotics division. He also happens to be Jane's lover and confidante. Jane's material for her crime procedural has to come from someplace, or rather someone. That person is Gus, as he also serves as her informant and number one source inspiring her "fictional" stories.
8. Commander Gomez - Ten Days In the Valley
Renaissance actor, Felix Solis, plays Commander Elliott Gomez. He's the man in charge, presiding over the LAPD Detective Bureau. Jane's past exposing corrupting in a police force, and presently relying on the police to help her solve a mystery, is bound to make things complicated. Commander Gomez is not one to be trifled with.
9. Detective John Bird - Ten Days In the Valley
OZ and Lost's Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje stars as Detective John Bird. Detective Bird is the man taking point on the investigation into Lake's disappearance. The case becomes more complicated as secrets are revealed and truths are unearthed, especially when it becomes evident that Jane doesn't always tell the truth.
