There's a new Poison Ivy on the horizon on Fox's Gotham.

According to TV Line, Peyton List is the latest actress to take on the role of Ivy Pepper/aka Poison Ivy on the hit drama series.

This marks the third actress to take on the role. Maggie Geha and Clare Foley have played the character on previous seasons of the show.

“In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics — dangerous [and] a live wire of crazy energy,” the series’ producers said in a statement.

“She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.”

List is a seasoned TV veteran who has appeared in the likes of Mad Men, Frequency and Flash-Forward.

Simply put, she is no stranger to the acting game, and we cannot wait to see what she brings to the role of Poison Ivy.

With this being the third iteration of the character in a few years, it's unclear whether this version will be sticking around on a more permanent basis.

The only thing we know is that List is scheduled to debut on the show during 2018, so it will likely be for an arc during Gotham Season 4.

Ivy has appeared sporadically on the show since its inception.
