Will Ximena ever make it out of the church without being taken into custody?!
We may find out on The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10. It's expected to be the second part and potential conclusion to the harrowing events of The Fosters Season 5 Episode 9.
The premiere will pick up where the finale left off, with Callie, Ximena, and AJ hiding away in Noah's church, and ICE outside formulating a plan. It's a relief that Stef and Mike show up the scene, but based on the phots, the kids may be hunkering down for a bit.
The winter premiere airs January. 9 on Freeform at 8/9c. There's still plenty of time to catch up on the season! You can watch The Fosters online right here via TV Fanatic.

1. Any Regrets?! - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
AJ tagged along with Callie and Ximena, no questions asked, but does he regret the position he's in now? Doubtful. He is understandably frustrated with the situation that they all are in. Can he and Callie come up with a plan to save Ximena? Anything is possible when the two of them put their heads together.
2. ICE, ICE, Baby - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
ICE is on the scene, and they are NOT too happy about a few teenagers foiling their plan. These teenagers know their rights, and so they know that ICE can't step foot in that church, but the agents and other law enforcement are not above waiting it out until it's beneficial for them. Callie and her friends can't hide away forever.
3. Calling in the Big Guns - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
Stef and Mike are on the scene, and they are sure to negotiate on their kids' behalf. Stef initially was planning to take Ximena into custody so she could help her by the book, but can she convince the ICE agents that Ximena should be in her custody after Ximena's escape? Hopefully, with the help of Mike, she can.
4. Callie Soothes AJ - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
AJ looks a bit concerned about whatever is happening off in the distance. Maybe it's hitting him that he may have jeopardized his admission to Art School with this scary brush with the law. Or maybe he's getting worked up about something the agents are threatening via bullhorn. Either way, Callie is there to reassure him and calm him down.
5. Angry ICE - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
This ICE agent is not too happy about what's going on, and he's the type to be vocal about it. How many ICE Agents, police officers, and detectives will it take to get three teenagers out of a church? The agents are trying to formulate a game plan.
6. Take it to Social Media - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
You can't put up a good fight or make any sort of statement these days without documenting every move and posting it on social media. Callie is a true activist, and her cellphone is her biggest tool. Callie records their surroundings so that maybe she can share Ximena's story with the world.
7. Not So Fun Sleepover - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
Sleepovers are supposed to be fun, but this sleepover is far from it. After being forced to shut themselves away in the church, the three attempt to catch a little shut-eye. This is NOT how they planned on spending their prom night.
8. Peering Out - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
AJ and Callie are peering out of the church's doors to see what the ICE agents are up to, but where is Ximena? As long as they can keep those doors locked, Ximena should be safe, but for how long?
9. The OG Fosters - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
The original Foster duo take a moment, step away from the surrounding law enforcement, and attempt to come up with a plan to rescue their kids and Ximena. Stef and Mike are quite the duo, and the kids can't ask for better people to be in their corner during this harrowing experience.
10. Papa, Can You Hear Me? - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
They're in a church, maybe AJ is considering praying to God for a way out of this situation they all are in. It couldn't hurt. Then again, maybe Ximena is somewhere up ahead doing just that.
11. Stef Leads the Way - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
Stef is front and center leading the pack. The others must be updating her on the situation. If anyone will fight like hell to reach the best possible solution, Stef can. I wouldn't want anyone else on my side, and Callie and her friends probably agree.
12. Sleepless Callie - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 10
Callie can't quite have a restful night's sleep because she's too worried about her friend. At some point, even Callie has to wonder how she ends up in these situations, and how she always has a run in with some form of law enforcement. At least this time, it's for a good cause.
