Well, this is good news!
NBC has confirmed Timeless will finally make its return to the air Sunday, March 11 at 10/9c.
The sci-fi drama series was initially canceled by the network back in May after less than stellar ratings, but the network reversed its decision just three days later and gifted fans with a sophomore run of 10 episodes.
It was one of the most shocking developments of the 2016-2017 season, and it was all thanks to the fans who made their voices heard when the plug was pulled.
Timeless Season 1 ended in shocking fashion with the stunning revelation that Lucy's mother is the villainous Rittenhouse, who plagued the team for much of the season.
Going forward, it should be interesting to find out just how Lucy reacts to the news when she finds inevitably finds out.
Timeless boasts a stellar cast that includes the likes of Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Paterson Joseph and Goran Višnjić.
The series debuted back in October 2016 to 7.6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating, but it concluded with 3.4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating just months later.
As a whole, the season averaged 4.6 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in live plus same day measures, but the demo tally surged to a 2.1 rating with 7 days of DVR factored in.
NBC is looking to bolster the series following a night of family-friendly programming which will include the Little Big Shots and Genius Junior.
