9-1-1: Charisma Carpenter to Appear On Season 2 Premiere!

Charisma Carpenter is stopping by 9-1-1 this fall.

According to TV Line, the beloved actress has landed a guest-starring role on the high-octane drama's second season premiere.

Little details have been revealed about what she will get up to, but the report states that she's a 911 caller who finds herself stuck in a tough spot.

If you watch 9-1-1 online, you know that the show has featured some crazy events that have pushed the workers to their limit. With that said, we can only imagine the precarious situations they will be put in when the show returns.

Carpenter is probably most well-known for her role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and spin-off, Angel, as Cordelia Chase. Since leaving both series behind, she has appeared on a string of hit TV shows.

To name a few: Supernatural, Scream Queens, The Lying Game, Chicago P.D. and Lucifer. In addition, she has hosted Surviving Evil since its inception in 2013.

9-1-1 was a surprise hit for Fox when it debuted earlier this year. 9-1-1 Season 1 averaged 6.3 million viewers and a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49 in live + same day figures.

It emerged as the second-highest rated series on the network, so it's a big deal. As we head into Season 2, there are numerous changes.

Connie Britton will not return as a series regular, but there's a chance she may could return in a guest-starring capacity to bring Abby's storyline to a close.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ryan Guzman have both boarded the series as series regulars. Hewitt is taking on the role of Maddy Buckley, a 911 operator and the sister to Buck.

Little is known about Guzman's character aside from the fact that he will be playing a firefighter.
