Frasier could be making a comeback to the small screen.

The hit comedy series that aired from 1993 to 2004, and it was recently revealed that a reboot was in the early stages of development.

Grammer attended the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Thursday to promote his upcoming Fox drama, Proven Innocent, and naturally, the conversation switched to the iconic NBC comedy series.

Grammer told reporters today that a Frasier comeback is “in the early stages. I have a wonderful life. I played Frasier for 20 years. It might happen again; it might not.”

“We just have to make sure it’s going to be a great show. If it’s not a great show and we don’t hear a pitch that really hits it out of the park, it probably won’t happen,” he continued.

In the reboot-obsessed world of today, it would not be surprising for Frasier to return after several years away. Roseanne and Will & Grace returned to pick up where they left off.
