Just one year after captivating audiences as the star of USA Network's The Sinner, Jessica Biel has booked her next big TV role.

According to Deadline, her next TV project will be a Facebook Watch drama.

Biel will star in, and executive produce Limetown, a brand new series which will be based on the fictional podcast of the same name.

It centers on a radio reporter named Lia Haddock who investigates the mysterious disappearance of 300 people at a Tennessee neuroscience research center.

The streaming service has ordered ten episodes for the first season of the mystery drama.

The podcast has been a success ever since it debuted in 2015. The first season has amassed 10 million downloads, and a prequel novel is in the works.

What's more, the podcast will continue, with the second season slated to launch in the coming weeks.

Zach Ackers and Skip Bronkie, the creators of the podcast, are on board to write the TV adaptation.

They will also executive-produce alongside Biel, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner, André Nemec and Scott Rosenberg.

The Sinner marked Jessica Biel's first series regular role since she scaled back her role on 7th Heaven in 2002.
